Monk Solo: 34-60 in Velious?

So I have prepared a monk to visit the snowy lands of velious and he is residing at nro docks everwatching for a raft that will arrive eventually. He is significantly geared for velious, epic/SoS, fungi, CoF and assorted other goodies. He will never return to Antonica, nor even his beloved Kunark.

Lizardjesus plans on setting sail and never looking back. As he spreads the word of Lizardgod, he anticipates the need to gain experience along the way.

What is a good leveling path for a solo monk come Velious? Antonica/ Odus/ Faydwer/ Kunark are out of the question! So. Where does Lizardjesus spread the lizardword about Lizardgod to the heathens of this snowy wasteland?

You could do the coldain ring quests and level off that stuff. Think the quests should progress well with your leveling? Give ya something to follow.

The dock's are getting lonely

Upon release run to Crystal Caverns and don't leave until 45. In that amount of time you can hoard some serious amounts of velium, crystalline silk, and chipped gems. After that, head to Velk's and stick that out until 60.

I agree that for a min/max path nothing really beats Crystal Caverns -> Velketor's Labyrinth.

But you might want to consider Tower of Frozen Shadow because it's really unique and can be fun to progress through. Or it can be a total pain in the ass.

Around 40 I definitely recommend the geonid tunnel at the back of Crystal Caverns. Spaced out warrior mobs with great loot. The mobs are about 33-38.

If you enjoyed slaying the rock people, you could move to the geonid cave in Wakening Land at 50. Those are in the mid 40s. Some of these are shamans (you can identify them since they're call a geonid shaman) but man the loot is great.

You can get some quest armor gems from the geonids, and that shit is going to be crazy valuable early into Velious.
