![]() Two monk tricks for taking tough mobs (or really any mob solo, but you won't generally be soloing for exp):
- After your first attack round, feign death. Stand before the mob starts regenning (not sure if you can wait the 20ish for Feign pop - if you can, do), swing/FK, feign. Essentially, you're reducing your Flying Kick delay. - Actually use intimidate to give you bind wound time. This is much more effective outdoors, and also past 40 (so that you can do it throughout the majority of the fight - at 70 instead of 50) so, not very effective in classic unless you're trying to do AC in OoT. Monk disintegrate: I'm absolutely in love with feigning mobs off as I run around a corner, if I'm trying to ignore them completely. It allows you to stand and continue on your way with only a fraction of a second paused. If I think of anything else that's monk-specific, or if you have monk questions, I'll update as I can. If you'd like to post tips, I'll add them.
