lol Project M. One of the greatest things ever in EQ. I managed to get a decaying skeleton to pop with a 2h once and made it to like level 4 before I was killed.

The best part was when you were playing a mob and you recognized other mobs being played by real people due to their movement patterns and shit, and even though you couldn't communicate there would be roving bands of fire beetles and shit just wrecking people.

Yea project M was canceled pretty fast but was nice while it lasted.

agreed, this was insanely funny, would absolutely love to have it on blue so us reds could unite as death beetles in unrest @ blue and fuck them up, you could close red99 if this was a possibility, it would make

1. red community happy
2. you would not have to host 2 servers
3. pve would be absolutely a unique experience on blue99 as it would be red players playing the mobs

Besides seeing red pop numbers drop i cant think of why this is a bad idea. I remember this lasting for a day at most i think on Rallos.

I remember spawning as a spider in Feerott, i see another spider, I jump. It jumps in response. Jump, Jump, Jumpity Jump. I follow the spider and we gank some naked Ogre in front of Oggok.

Other highlight of the day: Some guy in OOC "Wtf, theres a snake camping my corpse!"

Would be funny to have a day like this on blue but i doubt itll happen.

oh it brings back so many memories, it was glorious while it lasted, think it lasted 2 days on vallon zek, and i didn't login my character for that period of time

the fact that you could level up your critter was the best, i remember spawning as a wasp lvl 2 in gfay and leveling it slowly and painfully to 4 then i went fucking some people up by kelethin, dayum it was glorious

If you spawn as a caster, do you just start off with a spellbook and spells memmed already?

What happens if you zone?

Can you buy things from vendors (like additional spells)?

Does tradeskilling work as a monster?

I've heard so many people talk about this but never got to experience it myself. I hope it happens some day!

I have a million questions! But I'll start with those 4.
