Game Mechanics: Not being able to reach Lord Gikzic by ladder

I have tryied what the video did and , I still get the 2-3 delay before any jump is made on the ladder. If I move 1 step foward on that lader I fall off , giving no time or room to do the run jump stated in the video .

So I tried it on my laptop thinking maybe it's my PC , Nope same problem and started to think it was something with FPS with no luck . Still that 2 to 3 second delay with jumping up standing , I can do banner jumps in COM to the second floor b/c I have room to run jump on it but not on this ladder .

i've always had the same problem. i used to be able to do the jump just fine on EQMac. but 10 minutes of trying to reach this bastard on P99 and i gave up.

Make sure you don't have a run speed buff when you attempt this. I know I had a lot of problems with this before I thought to click off my sow.

tried it at level 1 with a fresh, unbuffed, untwinked SK. couldn't do everything i needed to do at level 1.

I never remember this jump on live being this silly , and I have tried my damnist outside of a levi potion and sow pot . If he didn't have the 1st and 2nd part of the sword quest I would have said " Meh " .

I remember having a hard time with these ladders on live, I think my biggest problem was being in first person.

I remember switching to third person getting to top of ladder turning around and jumping across.

probably one of the main reasons I never played an iksar on live
