Default Derubael you're aight I guess, your next considerations should be -

1) Consistent scheduled server resets, random weekly or bi-weekly will be the only way multiple guilds will exist and compete in end game EQ.

The reason being with no variance, two guilds will go head to head, or a third guild will join and ally with one side for better odds of winning and obtaining end game loot.

The problem with head to head is one side will win, one side will take all the mobs, and members will flock to the #1 spot in a snow ball effect of dominance.

If you leave it with these very rare instances of server resets (I imagine because the pop was so low) then one guild will win Az or Nihi, the winner will absorb the people who aren't loyal and only care about character progression and we'll be back to a 1 guild server with no chance of a newer guild entering.

There needs to be consistent repops discussed with senior dev's, there will not be item flooding, it will create opportunity for people to compete and keep their interest in keeping their guilds unique with their own style members and focus on different strategies to snipe mobs. Red Dawn did very well raid mob kill wise when there was 3 guilds and server resets as the 3rd guild.

2) HARDCODING your guild or group. I prefer guild, but this would allow us to have AOE groups, and use AOE's in PVP.
