For Vox/Naggy you don't really need gear
Cazic and Inny HP/Mana gear depending on how you kill him. But gear isn't that relevant here. Gore, Tal, Fay, Sev you need Magic Resist. Ethereal Mist Arms (arm) - 7 MR Sarnak Emblazened Tabard (chest) - 10 MR Skull-Shaped Barbeute (head) - 10 MR Kylong Boots (feet) - 5 MR Gold Wolf's Eye Bracelet (wrist) - 7 MR x 2 Platinum Jacinth Ring (finger) - 13 MR x 2 Weight of the Gods (shoulder) - 25 MR Goblin Soul Caller (neck) - 10 MR Spectral Shroud (back) - 5 MR Splitpaw Hide Mask (face) - 5 MR Earring of Essence (ear) - 10 MR Epic (primary) - 10 MR Sarnak Battle Shield (secondary) - 10 MR Thex Mallet (range) - 5 MR Ear2, Legs, Hands and Waist don't have any solid options for MR that aren't expensive or really rare. Just get WIS gear. That's a starter kit more or less. Maybe 15k in value from the SBS and EoE mainly. There are better options of course. Withered Leather Tunic, Tranix Crown, etc. But all very expensive. That's 152 MR, plus your base of 25, is 177. Add Resist Magic and a Null potion that's 242 I think? Clerics have it really easy on MR gear for cheap.

It will tip the barrier in some cases. Not that common I agree... But:
15 mana isn't going to give you one more CH or one more DL in a fight either. Except in very rare cases. Purple looks way more cool than leather. And especially more cool than no graphic at all (Embroidered Black Sleeves)

Both arms in question are 7 MR which is max for that slot in Kunark. So it's just a toss up of 15 mana VS 9 STR.
