Miscellaneous: Fire imps missing damage shield / fire burst

Finally found a few of these guys.

They don't have a ds or fire burst like they should..

Of course you could run around for a minute after pulling to make the damage shield wear off (works a treat with fire elementals)

but imps can zap you while your running so i now just avoid these little critters as much as i can.

i open up with CANCEL MAGIC (gets rid of the shield =P), send in my pet and cast ward summoned 2-3 times

More fire burst:

Kited several risky and dangerous blues at lvl 15 without taking damage, except for the spell they cast. What's all the fuss about? Nice loot also, Got 6 or 7 gp each kill including the loot I sold.

Also these guys should count as "summoned" / "elemental" type. Not sure if they do here don't have a spell on hand to test atm.


They are also a hideous undercon, seemed pretty easy here though:

Well, don't know what level these are, tho they are green to me and no exp at lvl 22, but one of them just took me down and took my level too. I had 630+ hps and a fire resistance of 57, and the thing took me from full health and mana to dead. So beware.

fire imps indeed do cast fire burst. Its set up as a proc atm not a ranged instant cast like a spectre tap.

lava guardians are the DS'ed ones

Edit: in solb I mean. Im not sure if youre saying these creature types world wide should have these effects.
