Default Everything moves at lightspeed

I am trying to set up the game on 1999 on my friend's computer and when in the game, everything moves at light speed. Hit a button to turn and you spin three or four times, you can shoot across the zone in about two seconds. The main difference between his computers and others is his solid state drive. We also had to un-overclock it to get past Error 1017.

Sounds like a processor problem, try downloading Duxa's installer (search for it on the forum) and theres an option to fix it. Hope that helps.

EDIT: Option 5 on the installer to fix multi-core processor issue.

Had this problem on dual core computer. I think the solution is setting 1 processor's affinity? towards eqgame.exe while it's runnning.

in the shortcut you made to eqgame.exe, right click it and go to properies, and at the end of the file path you need to add "/affinity 1" to run the game with one core
