Shaman are probably the best but they're great with all the classes Run listed. I've also soloed some mean mobs indoors with Enchanters using a really smart method of fear kiting. The enc would use the melee debuff, I'd use the asystole line, then snare, then fear, and the monster basically stands still because it's too encumbered to move.

Indoors shaman/enchanter for slow, you can pretty much root mobs and let your pet kick their ass. Outdoors, I'd say rogue/sham/ench in that order of effectiveness.
