There were a few reasons for the transition, but what sold me was the number of plugins and features available on Rizon that makes Freenode staff look like morans who have no clue. Also Freenode limits connections thus disrupting my botnet.

The Freenode channel has been MLOCK'd with flags +nmt and this information in the topic. This means it is essentially frozen in a muted state forever. I believe within 24 hours all of the regular pals will have transitioned, and anyone else who ever tries to join #p99 only to find a vacant room will know where we went.

As IRC tyrant and lead oppressor I approve this move and assure it can only result in more freedom and propserity.
