You forgot the part where their ex-rival guild hit the same point a looooong time ago (you know, when they had ~60 VP characters ready to go, but VP was delayed for months), combined with fucked up raid decisions, asshattery by the usual suspects and tainted GMs.

Only then, when the majority had enough and/or quit before due to burnout out or "doing the same shit over and over again with no change in sight" and bagged their bags, it was called "ragequitting".
