Cyrens fun, pretty much lead <empire's> off peak crew with his sickness for alts.
Def did more than any other officer or member of <empire> when I was part of that guild for ~6 months kunark-velious (and by a long mile). Atleast people get a chance at top tier loot in this guild and it isnt all funneled 2 pals of leadership. I mean seeing x-member of LC pals in empire afking 75% of the time and picking up their 2nd dozekar loot's pretty how's you going but we all knew what we were signing up for and got to see most of the content bcoz of it (well atleast those of us who weren't just login-2-raid types aka blackholes on red99). At the end of the day 95% of all that gear and time is just parked at server select screens anyhow and not like anyone in <empire> besides Crouton ever used it to PvP. Also I personally couldnt care vuulak isnt dead yet its 1% of the game and only small dicks get hung up on things like that: I mean lets face the facts <empire> never truely "won the box" because they never attempted the final boss of velious. The day I never have to go to NToV again on this server will be a happy day for me, I hate the zone. (P.s. if or when or when not: vuulak and probably most ntov dragons will still be up in 2 years time as the #'s on this box decline) | ||

yea cyren did a lot in empire after midnight in terms of playing everquest, but he never really fulfilled any officer responsibilities for his entire career in the guild
...other than batphone people, which he frequently fucked up by not selecting BCC on the mailing list, which pissed off a LOT of people he didn't: -lead raids other than white noising a channel with "this is what this raid mob does don't forget guys" - raids were 99% lead by gongshow and myself, he did put forth effort for off hours things like VP, but these literally never happened if neither gongshow nor myself attended -lead pvp, again mostly gongshow, myself, and heavy hitters like kammbo, chuck, weta, letsjoe, etc. -recruit new members, this was 99% me -manage the guildbank, this was basically every officer except for him, but mostly terp, gongshow, and omai, although he certainly helped himself to quite a bit of what was in the guild bank to buy his alt an efreeti war bow, surprise surprise he never fully paid it back to neither the guildbank nor casual scum; i remember having to dig up several VS stones to give to casual scum several months into velious to make good on his "trade" -manage the website, this was basically entirely terp, news posts were by gongshow -manage attendance tracking, this was mostly gongshow and then taken over later on partially by fistlin | ||
