No one thinks Zek is good or they would play it. There is a large crowd of people that would jump on any real PvP server coming out but Red99 and Zek season 4 are both dog shit. No one wants a crap custom server with awful zones, free custom gear that breaks the era you are supposed to be in, hearthstones and whatever other crap that is put into those servers.

You can say it is a fun server all you want but this entire community knows about that server and they aren't interested.

I want a new red server as much as the next guy, was up in blue forum making polls, trying to get momentum and visibility. Got people to pledge >3000 USDs as a response. Still they wouldnt have it, supposedly for legal reasons involving a NDA, so they wouldnt even comment on the matter.

So Zek is de facto the next best thing we got. Snagglejoe told me to check it out in April and the early weeks are just like a fresh red server would play out. And the best thing is you cant plug (!!) . Imagine that shit. Its the best ever. If you catch a fool slacking, no way out for him. No zone hugging.

First 2-3 weeks a lot of veterans showed up. Jibekn, Retti, Quilbillies, that cool dude form Slosh, and so on. Who cares if the best weapon in range 20 is not Dragon Dirk but some weapon that is slightly better. At least you have to earn it via actively engaging in Pevepe.

High octane pvp on zek week 1-4. Compared with red00 is like a live trap for people addicted to melancholy.

I understand the frustration that build up when peps got burned in S2 (?), but its not like I am getting commision to attract players, just letting you know I enjoyed my first season (S3) like a PVP-evengalist spreading the gospel of pvp just a click away

It's like an arcade version of EQ PvP. Shallow, low skill and the quality of content and thought put into the custom crap is rushed. It is a really bad version of an 18 year old game. Zek might have damaged its reputation with those crap servers so badly I don't even know if people would show up if they made a legit server now. There are countless other games with battlegrounds that provide that type of game play with more polish.

It is on the level of Abacab's CB server. There is no reason to talk about it, recruit or get hyped. You play it for 1-2 weeks and then uninstall.
