Responds to innocent player's justified anger by calling him a nerd, gets showed up in the thread by a GM who actually looked into the story and verified the details about a red to blue trade. What a shocker.

Sirken getting a bit sloppy, but it's understandable since his primary life accomplishment over the last decade has been GMing various iterations of emulated everquest servers.

to add to your part jeremy, you were entirely innocent, although i know that you know that alot of the red plat you got was illegal. but you can feign innocence because by the rules you did nothing wrong.

I never had any doubt that some of the blue plat I was spending on red items/plat was going to illicit activities. But what can ya do? I try not to pester the GMs and don't petition it every time I suspect someone is up to no good. One guy I bought a million blue plat of red stuff from PMed me the next day to tell me he got autobanned lol. So they are on it, but no staff member ever said to petition it for no reason other than it's a high-value trade.

The transaction that got me flagged was when I was selling red plat for blue plat back in December - they never checked to see if there was a corresponding trade on red. It's ok though, I know they'll straighten it out.

this is the exact thing i want to change by bringing this to light, i want an actual staff on p99, red99 specifically, not 1 or 2 people who judge based on what they read on forums and specific friends from vztz. That log on periodically and ban/suspend for minor things to make it seem like there is a staff presence on red.

cross server plat trades are the most obvious farse for RMT and scummy play to come about ever... they should've been against rules from day 1. Completely moronic and ruining the box.

Giving people access to move plat and items around more and exchange hands more, and be more difficult to track or justify = more RMT Dirty whistles. I have blue plat and gear that sits untouched for a year+ because who cares... the fun is getting gear and growing your characters, not buying the eays way out. Obviously anyone who would cross server trade is a prime candidate for RMT too. They want the easy plat, they less time investment for more pixels and plat. They are scum.
