Gotten ~40 people hooked up with the files to play on PC client so far =) Going to have a nice p99 demographic on the new AK server.

I don't quite understand the hate on boxing.

Is playing a level 10 mage solo that thrilling for you? Adding in boxes certainly makes you interact more with the game. And it's up to you how much you wish to interact with other players. You can be a hermit and solo in out of the way zones in P99 never interacting just like you could 3-box and do the same thing on this server.

Or you can join full groups on both servers.

Anywho the server is legit mainly due to the client. So much classicness that this server cannot get unfortunately.

Stand to cast, sit to camp from day 1.
No target rings
No maps
No walk forward to stand
No scroll to 3rd person with mouse wheel (this makes the game much more difficult in certain instances)
No broken-prenerf items (CoS, Manastone, Fungi staff, Holgresh Beads, and Donals 1.0 will never exist here)
Can't see your mana value in UI
Can't have more than 1 hotbar page
No hidecorpses looted
No buff timers
No combat ability window (discs) - learn to type /disc evasive and make a hotkey to go on your single Hotbutton page
No cycle target hotkey - learn to CC without Easymode enchanters.

It's very difficult, even with boxing.

Agreed. It has a much more classic feel than p99 right off the get go. Love p99 but the community is fucked here, I'm glad I will be able to start over with a new crowd.

Allows boxing so I'm not even going to consider it. If boxing was not permitted I would try it.

If anyone is still having issues DL'ing the files from Dropbox, what you need to do is install the Dropbox client onto your PC, and then add the files to your Dropbox account. They will then automatically be synced to your computer. If you don't have enough space with the default 2GB, you can recommend it to a friend for a free 50GB for a year. I just emailed it to one of my alternate emails *shrug*

I will also be hosting it on a certain kickass website once I get upload permission.
