I agree, but the point was to discourage boxing and enable those that didn't. They really should have probably not gone in.

Uhm... WoW and the boombust of all those different MMOs right after EQ hurt the game more than anything, they should have just contracted their servers down into smaller and smaller grps rather than trying to 'fight the bleed' and pixel lust with clarity I, II, III, IV etc pots.

Those ds pots were ace! Log on 30 mins a day, pop pot, lesson and steadfast servant and berserker was 65 in no time. Epic was pretty cool when it procced a buff that would make itself reproc as long as you kept swinging.

Imagine if Luclin was released with Green instead of Teal. Imagine what would have happened. Neck-beards would be split between blue and green. The neck-beards on Blue would be focusing on SSRA and VT keys. Guilds that couldn’t compete before would finally get NTOV loot and ST / VP keys. I realize that this server never intended or intends to go beyond Velious and perhaps don’t have the legal permission, technological capability or required staff but I think it would have been a perfect storm if they had released Green and Luclin simultaneously.
