I work in game development, and let me tell you reading comments anywhere is always a bad idea once a product is out on the market.... You may think you are doing good because you put time and effort into this.. but you will hurt the server and possibly require another dev team out there wanting to re-recreate a classic everquest because of this and future projects you or others create because you cant handle classic EQ.

You dont see the issue because you dont look to foreseeable damage you will do. As a I said, give people an inch, they will take a mile, but instead of walking that mile they will download an app of the mile.

You may start "phasing out" EC much like the Bazaar did years ago, many people may stop haggling, many people may never use EC again and thats the problem and I go back to saying the Devs might as well allow The Bazaar into the game.

You hate selling in EC? Undersell the prices, let them go fast, use the forums here and read your private messages in the morning

why not just replace the forums with this nice clean app... then you'd b e happy, we're all happy (since you seem to think its ok to use the forums).

In theory (not to take away from your effor vile) but this is basically a well organized easier to use forum!

I too hope that the tunnel population doesn't dissipate, but I think its a bit of both here. You seem so dedicated to the tunnel, Juanna, that I Hope you continue to use it! I will visit! I know that others will too...

I agree, anything that damages the social world of norrath should be looked at with an eye of scrutiny but I dont know if Viles work here will necessarily destroy EC. I hope not! I hope it just helps it.

Suggestions:

1. Clicking on items should bring you to the item page, not the wiki page.

2. The item page should show both WTB and WTS (the spread).

I seen the front page of this, its set up like the Bazaar, you can search for the item name you want, people list the item they want and for the price they want. Turning someone down over a phone is much easier then turning down a live person making "no haggle" situations much easier, specially when you are out exping not giving a shit.

And yes I am dedicated to the tunnel because this is CLASSIC EVERQUEST, yes yes yes you can lie to yourself by saying "Well this thing here and that thing over there is not classic, the rest should not as well", or maybe I should paint a picture for all you Futurama fans out there:

Two gay guys are riding a float screaming at someone else saying "There are parts of the Bible I like and parts I dont like!" and this and the map app reminded me of that scene. EQLive is free to play as well as P99. Stop making P99 more like EQLive just because you dont like some things. this Vile person started off with a Map App, if he kept it to himself or maybe alerted the Devs PRIVATELY and kept it to himself to use that would of been OK because I or others would be unaware of it, but the way people accepted that app just opened a floodgate to other things, like this.

I played EQ before Kunark was ever out. Not all servers used EC tunnel just to point out. Some used Kelethin. I will say you must not have been in the technology boom if you honestly believe people did not do massive trading on boards/spreadsheets/websites. It may be a little cleaner app hes using, but its roots are classic as hell. I bought alot of items pre-kunark using forums and trader spreadsheets, sorry you missed the boat on that in 99.

Sorry but unless you have proof that you did this just sounds like someone willing to let loose even more floodgates to other things to make P99 not P99.

And two, the screenshots on the first page dont look very forum like at all, they look like a Bazaar/auction house type of deal. type in what you are looking for and bam, its there with everything filtered out.
