I've played on p99 on and off for like 8? 9? years. I have never once had a negative interaction with a GM. Come to think of it, I believe the only interaction I ever had with one was Sirken telling me I looked cool in my gold armor. That and like running by them and /salute'ing.

I think it also depends on what you play. If you’re a solo class, or a Cleric who plays a more passive role in a group you are way less likely to get into an altercation than whoever is responsible for pulling.
