Yep and the reason why monopolies fail also (just take a look at the Madden franchise). People stop buying shit and ultimately it hurts everyone in the end. I suggest Nihilum start selling their items for fair prices, for the good of the server. Not having a healthy economy is killing Red and makes people coming over from blue hesitate to continue playing here.
At this point in the game, on Red, a NoS > Selos. Your stance is that people farmed the hell out of it. So. So did people on blue and its still worth 45k there over 2/3 the value of what a fungi tunic is worth.
I think alot of it has to do with the fact that Nihilum (and a few others) don't have a clue what items are worth, partially because all they have done is sat by their batphones and raided dragons. I like how HB is on here professing about the economy and value of items...when in reality he has little experience on selling/trading items here, and it surely shows.

Your blue server reasoning doesn't apply here. The level of competition is much higher on any pvp server - this shits srs man, we ain't friendly. The only competition on a blue server is who can amass the greatest number of players to zerg down content. On a red server, your goal is to prevent your competition from even being capable of killing you, let alone competing for raid targets.
Consider Nihilum the United States or r99. If we even think you're trying to enrich uranium, we will level your little shanty huts to the ground. If we do sell you weapons, we will make sure its ones that don't present a threat to us, at a price that benefits us more than you.
Even Mellowyellow understands this, and he has the IQ of a houseplant.
