Because I wasn't there for UN, but this whole institution got started essentially as a way to force top guilds to share pixels, when TMO had monolithic command of raid targets. Guess I thought that was what you were lamenting.

As an old, I get the impression there are going to be some major "unintended consequences" of weed legalization and even mmj.


I'm a professional at this stuff. So yeah, Boomers and Gen X are having a blast, cuz we are already all "weed socialized" for decades, either that or we suck. Weed is like wine in Italy for us, and life is good.


And then I see what younger gens, and especially Z, is doing.



They are blasting their tolerance like the sinking of the Bismark, I tell you that.



All the concentrates (except RSO, which is good for stomach issues imo) are, to me and I think pretty much anyone I grew up with, who has sense, as appealing as eating spoonfuls of instant coffee for "extreme caffeine rush!"


I was weed socialized to think of "big bangs" = crack, etc. Weed is the "smoke it then do something" drug of choice. In my generation, it was as common for young teens to get weed on a Friday night as beer. I was not in the beer only part of the venn diagram, but I was in the overlap. But I veered toward weed only. Pure personality choice. It fit me better.-----

So. This is gonna cause so many problems. THC tolerance is real, anyone who smoked knows it.



I grew up on Long Island NY late fuckin 70's. The rich kids were on the other sided of Jamaica. Lots of them fucked up. Car crashes, THE BAD SHIT, etcetera. Chemistry is the great equalizer. I didn't have enough money to be in constant thai stick. So we smoked dirt weed and brown hash during summers back when there was indeed a "dry time of year." And we didn't become coke addicts, mostly.


I'm out of youth culture loop or anything remotely close to it. I don't have an elderly group either. Gen X is kind of a navigation of a new world generation, imo.


tl;dr Are people being idiots with weed these days? It seems a bit creepy. Sure, you can do a big blast. But why? Unless it's morning and it's the first of the day, of course.
