It doesn't even have to be push, you can be interrupted corner casting on a non bash. Frontal stun immunity is great though, especially v. 55+ mobs where both kick and bash act as interrupts.

Ya, you don't get to just stand in a corner and cast w/o interrupts. I would go troll inny for the snare. It allows you to dungeon crawl solo or duo much easier.

If you are gonna take the easy outdoor routes, then not so much, but shammy is the best solo dungeon crawler with snare, even if it lasts a short while.

Someone can correct me if I am wrong but someone told me that how spell casting works is it checks your loc when you cast a spell and when the cast ends. So if you get pushed as long as you move back to the original spot you were at when you cast the spell you shouldn't be interrupted.

But a bash and high lvl mob kicking always interrupts a cast.

Regen is life+mana for a shaman. Don't let people make you think that regen isn't an big advantage in the long run. You can canni+torpor but regen is always on, even when torpor ticks end.

Ogres into a Grizzly bear
Troll/Iksar into a Kodiak
Barbarians into a Polar Bear

Shaman is a very Skill > Race class.
Pick what you want! Stop listening to what other people tell you is best. Best is very opinion based usually.
Just don't go ogre. They're fat, dumb, stinky & ugly. Listen to my opinion!

Best to worst imo: Troll > Ogre > Iksar > > > > > Barbarian

Frontal Stun Immunity is good but it's nowhere NEAR as good as people make it out to be. If it meant you could just stand in a corner and never ever ever get interrupted it'd be a different story. But that's not how it works. Regen is awesome and it continues to be awesome even after you have Torpor regardless of what people tell you.

Also I don't know who started the rumor that JBB "isn't important" at lvl 60 but I think they're literally smoking crack or something. I've been a L60 Troll Shaman main for a long time and I use JBB literally every day pretty much. Mana free 263dd and for some reason people act like its useless lol. Iksar can't equip JBB and therefore will always be inferior to Trolls as far as Shamans go (Sorry Vetus)

The only thing Barbarians have going for them is faction. Pretty much completely meaningless at high lvl. You can LoS to use bankers in many cities including freeport. Fixing freeport guard faction is a pretty easy task. There's a decent amount of neutral vendors around if you know where to find them. WC druid rings in the commons area. Gypsy camp over in Oasis. Barb just feels like a really bad choice unless you absolutely hate the appearance of the other 3 races in which case you gotta do what you gotta do. Fashionquest will always be #1

at the end of the day every shaman race can accomplish the same things dependent upon player skill, equipment and luck. Claiming else wise is misleading. Play whichever you want, remember its never to late to reroll (iksar) and have fun, race shouldn't matter
