Funny how it works on P99. On my old server on live I played a druid quite a bit and I ported people all the time. I never expected a tip I just did it to help people out. If they happened to tip me I appreciated it but I legitimately didn't go into it expecting to be paid. Seems like 90% of porters on P99 fully expect payment and in some cases even get angry when you don't tip as much as they think you should lol. Had some guy /t me "wtf 10pp?" once. Won't name names but I asked for a port from some guy that was just sitting in EC tun the other day and he replies "100pp" lol. Very very different than my memories of Live [You must be logged in to view images. Depends on what kind of mood we're in. I'll port people and pay them sometimes just for the fuck of it. Other times, it's not worth my time to port someone short of 50-100pp. If I'm a dick for not doing what they want me to, then they're just entitled.

I have no expectations of any tip whatsoever. I am very appreciative of anything I receive. I even got 2 bat wings once on top of 10p tip and I thought it was a very thoughtful offer. But it can be true that there are times when druids and wizards don't feel up to porting. But I almost always don't mind helping others when I receive a tell for help, unless in the middle of an experience group.

some people tip 10pp, some people tip 100pp. either way the money that trickles in here and there when you're a port class over time really adds up. if you port a nub don't expect a 50pp tip lol.

i am usually /anon just so people don't hit me up for ports, but when i take /anon or /role down its like i'm having wizard office hours - in come the questions and port requests haha. i gotta say though people are generally quite generous with tips can't really complain much.

Good tippers always get a seafood buffet on Portasaurus portlines! Even crappy tippers usually get seafood. In other words: seafood.

But if you can prove to me that you donated real money to Pantheon? ...Well I can't tell you what you'll get because then I'd get banned.

OK I got it out of my system. I'll stop.
