Something needs to be done about this if people care about this server. We need to act fast and boycott TMO, p99, and the forums if that's what it takes. Lets see how much TMO controls the server when the GMs realize no one but TMO plays on this server or visits these forums. Maybe then things will change.
ahah lol u so bad.

Serious. We actually have 3 VP clients currently who have been collecting items. They pay on a per-item basis and so far have gotten some decent drops. There is a short waiting list for the next people we are going to bring in.

Loot doesn't really rot on blue. It goes to our best clients. 200k per tooth and item prices are negotiable (discount on items if you buy a tooth from TMO). We are always open to new customers. PM if interested.

Anyone who thinks this kind of bullshit is ok doesn't have a real life occupation.

How is this any different from purchasing goods in the EC tunnel or forum? Certainly, it would be commendable to give out the rots for free, but it is not ethically obligatory to do so.

The guild is capitalizing on a rare commodity that cannot be obtained any other way. Much in the way you tried to buy this unique account here: http://www.project1999.org/forums/sh...0&postcount=10 You had a want, and a seller was in a position to fulfill that want. This is basic economics; both parties to the transaction are better off than they were before, and no one has been made worse off. This is economic efficiency of the most desirable type by nearly any metric of efficiency. (Pareto, Kaldor-Hicks, Pigouvian, etc.)

Are you suggesting that it is more ethically commendable that unneeded items be allowed to rot that it is to sell them?

APPENDIX: I suspect that you will suggest that there should be a moral obligation to share rotting loot, and that your disgust is due to the current lack of such an obligation. Such a view, however laudable its goals, will fail. The end result of such a view would be the abolition of the server's transactional economy, and it would be the height of naivete to suggest that the free exchange of loot rights be restricted in such a fashion.

If you honestly think that was a serious offer (and since you seem to have no problem investigating and digging up posts) I suggest you look at my actual auction thread and see if I'd able to actually make good on that kind of deal.

I'll save you some time. Not counting gear (nothing amazing) my girlfriend and I have 9K between the two of us.
