So EQ only bans for whatever line was reported, WoW pulls chat logs from anyone in the vicinity (Guild, Whispers, all of that content near the offending player) and takes a month to ban for "******"

I got suspended like 2 years ago for saying bazaar prices were to yahweh worshipping

And yes, if a GM feels like being a dick he can go through all your associated reports, but I was saying they wouldn't just start randomly going through everything else you said that wasn't reported (for reasons I won't mention).

i got suspended for 5 hours on PTR in wow for saying that the GM hosting the event we were testing was downs

I concede that point but it was taken into account every time a warning was issued or report was investigated.

I'm sure our very political friend has been reported countless times.

Yea part of the reason I want to revamp our petition system is because we don't really have a good way of associating reports or previous disciplinaries to an account other than a forum post atm heh.

I have the interface shell created though, as part of the tools I was making to bring up information regarding accounts and logs.
