i played for months co-leading holocaust 2.0 losing to azrael and still logged in every day until we won

didn't play with ragnarok; i stopped playing very shortly after we woke the sleeper

Nilihium core disappeared after Nizzars death blow and tried some funky God's Work thing instead of contesting.

Mirkuls, HPT, Vapo, his crazy brother etc. only came back to red99 when the pixels were flowing in your guild, none of them had anything to do with the few PvP battles Tempest had with Empire at the start, infact I don't even recall you been apart of Tempest till Empire quit.

actually me strut and blueflower found tempest and were always the guild leaders, we set up the guild and were in full control of ops until we got bored and quit after empire left, your job was literally just to stick around after we got tired of it all
you never led a single pvp battle or ran any raids that involved progression you were limited to recruiting and farming rats

an hour after we told everyone to log off for 2 weeks due to the christmas holiday, friends, prophets of slosh, and a few other guilds swell up to 30-40 members online, after months of single-digit player count, and beat 3 good players and 20 shitty/undergeared recruits at the "legendary" grobb fight

when the holidays ended, fear golems were taken back immediately, and you guys disappeared

i don't think the friends/tempest crew won a single mass pvp fight in velious other than that

you guys thumped your chests for months prior to velious release about how we would never kill any raid mobs with your interference, but gave up after your very first showing at our first yelinak, where we'd kill him on top of dozens of your corpses

you guys tried a few times at VP and got shit stomped

you guys tried a few more times at plane of fear when tempest formed and got shit stomped multiple times

it wasn't until the empire core got bored, woke the sleeper, disbanded the guild, and quit playing everquest that your crew got to experience velious raiding uncontested just like you always wanted to do

These were the only two fights were the numbers were even. Not much can be done out numbered 3 or 4 to 1. You had more then us at Grobb even in your off season. Multiple “good” players from Empire showed up to die in the swamp as well. The EJ fight I’m not sure what happened I think people were over confident and tried to engage like 25~ of us with 3 groups? Empire did reform with even more then us and while we were fighting CS loaded back in to even the numbers. That being said every one of the shitters brought ToV gear and Velious pixels vs kunark rags. There were good players in empire for sure but for the most part they were just dead weight idiots who were free kills for friends.

So if the question was best PvP guild I wouldn’t put Empire up there biggest Zerg / most pixels sure. Number of good players? Maybe 10-15 scary players?
