Slow two handers are the best for a hybrid who casts a lot, because you can end up casting between swings (aka no lost dps as a result of casting - Oggok Cleaver is amazing for this).

Once a paladin dings 30, bash becomes less useful due to stun.
bash is always incredibly useful and often ends up being the difference between life and death. casters are very nasty and you have to stop their spells, especially when youre duo or trio. the clicky bracer doesn't work until 45 and the cooldown on stun is way too long to not need to use bash to stop additional spells.

the clicky bracer is so damn slow that you have to start casting it immediately when your spell stun hits in order to have it timed correctly for interrupts. until you get the lvl 49 stun you will be relying heavily on both bash and stun to be an awesome knight - sword and board 4 lyfe.

even when you hit 49 and get the second spell stun, you'll still use bash quite a bit. clicky bracer is nice but its a real pain in the ass to time and its pretty much useless to stop runners.

if its a melee mob, put on a baton of faith and bludgeon it repeatedly.
