As for the best players, I have no idea. I haven't witnessed many people playing firsthand but I can say whoever picked Chewie as the best SK you might want to reevaluate your choice. He is laughably terrible. Last time he tried to jump me he got run off three consecutive times then hid outside Grobb until I left. All he managed to do was aggro the guards on himself and not even be able to do 30% dmg to me. Without his HT click Chewie is pathetic.

I think we really have to re-evaluate what makes people good here, there are people who kill scrubs all day, you cant call them good, you can basically call them motivated.
If i wanted to i could port around all day and down no name scrubs all day. but i don't cause i rather let them turn into beautiful butterflys that will one day match my skill level. i could roll a wizard and port around and snipe people who are sitting medding tabbed out cause they are retarded as fuck all day and be king of the leaderboard with my playtime, but i dont. i could PL 7 diff SK's and park them at all newbie zones totally decked out in every slot rotating between harmtouches and pwn scrubs, but i don't. I could join nihi get my mage epic and then leave and then sit on the KC zoneline all day and run into faction mobs for cover while my pet kills people with me sending bolts, but i dont. I could make a lvl 20 rogue and sniggle snaggle as i BS newbs for 200dmg and kill them, but i don't. What I do is try to mass pvp over dragons, cause thats whats funnest and causes the most amount of drama. If you arn't doing this you are just another scrub in my book.

Surprised the neckbeards have not been mentioned, being good at pvp or knowing pvp mechanics does not make you good at this game
Nizzar by far the best overall on here, has the time and effort to lead many terrible players to slay dragons, is not great at pvp but knows how to auto attack, online every single night for the past 2 years, does not give up and gives 100% of his attention to the game For pvp i think cwall would take the cake, someone mentioned me which is laughable at best, i was ok back in 2009 when i gave a shit, now i am terrible... rolled wizard for a reason bros, shits no skill

I don't think there is really any proper answer for any class. You might be able to evaluate some people for pvp, and some guildies for pve, but at best you're only catching fragments of the population or what a person can do.
My RL friend doesn't have a pally here, but I can guarantee he is one of the best, if not the best, pve paladins you will ever see. He plays a damn good SK too. I have no idea on pvp because I stay out of it. I get a nice lecture now and then for it. I've been a shaman since I started EQ and I still love the class. I missed this era which makes it fun for me, even soloing. I still have more experience as a shaman than likely anyone on p99 Blue or Red, which is probably something to be more sad about than proud. I have done a portion of Kunark and Velious events and every single raid event from Luclin through an ungodly amount of expansions. I've created and led a raiding guild that took casual players and turned them into a raid force. Leading raids is horrible btw, those guys have a shitty, often thankless job. I'm much better as a peacekeeper. Anyway, point is, I would put my skill level as a shaman against anyone with confidence. Even for pvp when I am proud of the fact that I have never killed anyone. I still wouldn't put myself on any list, except as maybe the most stubborn. Too many people take this shit far too seriously. I bet I have more fun running around on Neefin helping out newbies than most people will ever get on their pixel quests. It's supposed to be fun, for everyone. Even dying should be fun. I've camped an item for hours, finally had the named spawn with it, and got killed from behind while fighting the named. It was hilarious. I congratulated my killer and spent a little while bullshitting and trading good humored insults. Have fun or play solitaire. If you pop a blood vessel over a pvp death, there's always minesweeper. We all knew what this server was going to be, so double up the therapy sessions and just laugh it off.
