Nilbog mentiond in IRC today that they are working on velious.

The reason these threads keep popping up is because people are impatient and too lazy to log into irc to try to talk to nilbog.

I would guess it comes out right before summer, just as kunark did. Summer time is probably the most populated time for mmos (kiddies off school), so I imagine it would be the ideal time to release it.

what is irc? is it like yahoo chat? i'm not allowed to use yahoo chat in my state right now due to a misunderstanding involving dateline nbc...can i still use irc? i should prob check with my lawyer too.

Stealin stated he still believes Velious beta will be later this year around fall/winter.

I've never understood why people even use IRC.

We have forums for the server and we have chat in game... in addition to this, we have a Mumble channel up, so what's the point of IRC?
