If you knew anything about EverQuest, you'd know in classic mediocre rangers outparse all melees besides high end rogues and perhaps a megabaws monk. The combination of dots, nukes, mistwalker procs, no melee discs, et al. makes them the superior melee dps class.

Never played ranger on live so I can't speak to that, but on vztz and red99 what u just said is completely off base- like its literally so wrong i'm not even going to bother tearing it apart piece by piece.
