My thoughts that a popularised ‘dial a raid’ could be rather damaging to the servers relatively cohesive community.
As it stands plat is basically useless except for buying vendor consumables like bandages, muffins and spells. Thats why most people farm dkp to spend instead. Dial a Raid would be a return to the terrible days of Kunark where everyone was a plat obsessed farmer shitting up all the zones for the sake of draconically hoarding pp.

Thats backward. The MQs cost so much because plat is worth so little.

It’s not a viable option because there is nothing in game to trade a white dragon scale for. Like it I have one million PP it let’s me buy more fungus than I can wear, and any other droppable items.
Like you said it has no value, the people slaying these dragons all want the loot for themselves there’s no spare best in slot items to sell to highest PP bidder unless the raid guilds switch to some kinda everything is sold And we split the money among the guild and you just buy the items with plat. But dial a raid could work for “ easy “ targets that aren’t soloable at level 60 just not super rare top dragon stuff
