How to get free plat

I got around 2000 plat in gifts starting out on the server rolling three level 10 chars before I decided what to stick with. Not to mention all that CB belt money.

Even if you are exploiting someone, you are still making them feel really good about themselves. I have a few mid 30 chars that have an orbiting group of guys who think I am a 23 year old female welder and will just follow me around buffing groups and chatting it up.

the most amusing post is all these people calling OP scum. no shit folks, someone posts about gleefully scamming someone and you think they care if you call them scum? does it make you feel better? I hope so because otherwise there was no point in it.

one thing is for sure, people will keep being nice because it makes them feel good. if it makes dudes like OP feel good in turn about turning tricks for a few plat no harm in that.

In FFXI I was a cute adorable Mithra girl and never had to farm anything and always had top of the line gear, it was amazing as a bard in full wedding dress just dinking around then seeing a scorpion harness in my mailbox, with the message " I was up all night farming again. Ended up selling that account for $1800 and it took a solid year to fill the emotional hole in left in me :3

In Asheron's call before secure trading I probably conned a few hundred shards, mattekar robes, and suits of lesser shadow amuli armor when it was THE shit.

check ooc for an item you need, lets say it costs 70k

char A tells vendor "I'll give you a mrylo BP and a hiero cloak for it" (you want to offer like 60k of stuff)

char B oocs later "wtb mrylo BP and hiero cloak, 75k for both"

complete deal on char A, log char B off

am sure thats easy to pull off with all the sharking on blue

I don't think the OP is scum as some people are stating because.../thread is in RNF and he is obviously being sarcastic about how he is describing the 'free way' to get plat... seems to me the direction of OP was he discovered people were scamming him
