Gates of Discord. He was designed for the max-level being 70, but the max level at that time was only 65. He was not killed until after Omens of War came out (and the level cap was raised to 70). He was extremely difficult to put it mildly.

The first part of the fight was normal Tunat. He hit for 4400, had a root/dot proc. He would have mobs in his room that would heal him and give him DPS, so they had to be killed to make him easier. He also spawned some nasty adds.

Then, after that Tunat died, he respawned as just a plain mean mamba jamba. He hits for 4800 and has a 60 pt ds and haste. Every 10%, he would transform into one of the sub bosses (named raid mobs) in Tacvi, and get their abilities. So that would mean adds and AEs and whatnot. After that, at around 20%, he would go back to his normal form and hit for 5300. After 15%, he hit for 6500 and would gain attack speed as well as rampage and flurry.

He is the hardest raid boss, considering the expansion they were released, by a large margin. He was almost as hard as Overlord Mata Muram, the boss of Omens of War.

Do a series of them! Like "A giant bat vs a giant rat....who is king of the freeport yards?!".

Or "Undead froglok vs live froglok....is living really better?!".
That I might be able to do easily. The reason I only show a few seconds of each fight is OBS file sizes are huge and that makes uploading on a slow connection tough. Fights between lesser hp mobs would work. Ill post some the next few weeks.

I am surprised that Quarm would assist Kerafym, was there any connection between the two lore-wise?
Im not really up on all the lore, I know when I was running thru time on the server I have gm powers on, I finally got a chance to read the chat messages the gods say before the quarm fight. The bosses from the elemental planes combined their power after you defeat the lesser gods to make Quarm. Im guessing the monster is a mindless thing of power. Why it would assist the Sleeper is beyond me.

Can you pop a huge number of mobs? I wonder how many ghoul lords from Guk it would take to defeat, say, Trak, or AoW, etc.

AoW ripostes would probably be doing some damage there :P

The friend who made the server I hold the fights on linked me an old thread with these videos last night. Wish this guy had made more vids, he does an incredible job.
I tried the Sleeper in Fear after seeing this. After about 3 minutes, Dracoliche, The sleeper and CT all became Invulnerable for some reason. Need to do more research to find a fix.

What a good fight.

Tacvi had some incredible mechanics. That was truly a zone done right. Mastruqs at each door to unlock and one boss per room.

Balance Zun, south snake, Nascar Zun, even the goat and north snake were great events.

Oh wow. That was pretty interesting. Thanks for the info.

Was this more or less the encounter that broke the camels back for FoH way back when?

I think Rathe council and Tunat were the two biggest encounters that ended guilds.

Tacvi was fun. Only 1 "yard trash" between named (which was a raid mob in itself), not really a time sink. Just some bad ass sub bosses.

Broken rathe followed by time caused the initial exodus. Then uqua really set it off. FOH was gone long before anyone got to tacvi.
