This is some crazy shit.

The universe means nothing, it's a fart in the wind. There is no god, no karma, no reincarnation, no jedi force, no heaven, no hell.

You exist for a short while and then you don't, and nothing that ever happens in our little blue corner of the universe has ever or will ever matter one whit.

Suppress your human ego's misguided thirst for a reason to exist, for a greater purpose that isn't there, and you will realize that everything and anything boils down to this:

YOLO

get necro'd
agreed carpe diem is brilliant

the best people in life are free as taylor swift says [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

but by extension formulating our own beliefs and ideas whether farts in the wind that support freedom and happiness in our lives is a good thing, fart in the wind or not [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.] (and by extension I mean also others when I say our (through sharing, compassion, commonality, oneness, leadership, and example))

try to keep an open mind, anything is possible, we can never know all the truths and minutia in our lifetime, but it's nice to have an appreciation for the complexity and potential meaning of the universe when it's our own or accepted by us through openness.

It's ok to have a simple YOLO life though. I can't help myself from thinking deeper though.

by extension we give meaning to this fart in the wind by farting in the wind

my farts smell like roses [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.] and roses and daises and and lavender and all sorts of wonderful flowers spring up around my fart clouds in the fairy forests of my dreams

Is it possible both, or neither may or may not be right? Or that rightness depends on context and that sometimes one may be right and one may be wrong or sometimes both may be right or wrong? Or the infinite combinations.

IDIC.

I wish I understood. But yeah, it's kind of hip and cool, I guess?

I don't know anything about early punk rock marketing, it's just the world as I see it from a broader perspective

Nope. Just more pseudo-metaphysics espised like The Secret or some Randian politic. Where's the guiding ethic?

Mere mortal men may know the scope and breadth of the earth and travel to other stars and far distant worlds.

But the mind of the goddess surrounding all in her milky embrace is eternal and infinite.

No. Your stance in this thread is a promotion of selfish gains at the expense of others through a self-centered ethic that will delineate positivity, confidence, and a myriad of other valuated adjectives. In short, it does not build anything but an appearance, thoroughly believed, that collapses under any legitimate scrutiny (what the generation that's currently holding political power promoted). So the question then becomes if promotion of a believed self is promotion of a truth then what is one to do when that promoted truth is invalidated?
