If by greatest, you mean long dead and no longer relevant, sure. Ask anybody in Newtons field today (Stephen Hawking comes to mind), and they'll say that they have respect for his pioneering work, but then they can prove almost any of it wrong. And then they'll tell you that there is no God. Amazing how far we've come in the last 400 years.
