Inherited wealth isn't always a blessing. This dude that lives across from me in the apt complex has a rich dad. This guy is 46 and looks like he could die tomorrow. He's fucked up on drugs, his body is fucked up from a drunk driving accident, he has fake teeth cause the ones he had rotted out. Dude weighs 125 at best. Guy literally looks like a walking skeleton. 46 looking like he's 66.

I wouldn't trade lives with him for anything, and his dad's a millionaire+ and he doesn't have to work. Meanwhile I slave away at UPS every day to build my future. My life is better than his.

That's the secret. You work for yourself, you're proud of what you can do, you're proud that you can support yourself, and you're looking toward your future.

Inherited wealth is a great boon if you also work. Like or dislike Trump, he took that "small" loan of a million dollars and did something with it, and went to school and worked hard, unlike your neighbor that squandered that birthing lottery win.

a child who is left a lot of money, has often felt less love than one who wasnt.. yet the one that had the blessings of a loving family that cared more about its unit than its wealth, demands to take the 1 thing that the child with money had.

The poor just want to take and take and take because they are no different than the rich.

It's totally normal. Commonerss think how wonderful life would be if they were a king, kings think how great life would be if they were an commoner without all those responsibilities. Anonymous nobodies like us think what we'd do if we were rich celebrities while rich celebrities think how life would be if they were anonymous nobodies that could live without everyone harassing them for autographs.

Don't sweat it, we all do it.

What is wrong with inherited wealth??

If I make sacrafices so my kid will have advantages, why should some family that didnt make sacrafices for their children, get to take from my kids what I saved just because I die???

Theft. Pure and simple.

Drug addicts, who want what the hard workers have.

There is a HUGE difference between fairness, and trying to rob someone's grave.
It would be impossible

Even if the gov’t tried to tax it more than it already is, the parents would just try to get it to their kids through some other means

It’s a natural biological instinct for a parent to want to provide as good of a life as they can for their offspring. Whether some of them recognize that boundaries and responsibilities for their kids are still important to prevent them from becoming spoiled entitled assholes is what’s not a given

Ok so I just had a little conversation with the spoiled neighbor. This motherfucker is on heroin or something similar no doubt. It's either heroin, fentanyl or methodone
Imagine having a conversation with someone who just got tranq darted, that's what I just did.

Wait till he starts to nod off and hit him with some nasal Narcan. Say sorry I thought you were dying. Completely removes the high. Last time he’ll ever talk to you lol
