The original point didn’t come from me but from some random poster who had never posted in off topic before saying he was a huge supporter of the LGB community, purposefully leaving off the T. He (or she or other I dunno) claimed that trans was erasure of the gay identity

I would hope with your deep deductive reasoning to believe that a Matt Walsh fan most likely is NOT also a deep supporter of the LGB community

Most likely my guess was more likely, that the original poster was likely gay or bi, and had a friend or partner that was previously identifying as gay or bi, and that somehow by that partner switching to identifying as trans, the poster lost some bond or connection. Then they blamed the new identity, further ruining their dynamic causing them to no longer be in a relationship. And thus came across as bitter towards “trans erasure” as a result

But if you want to think it was a Matt Walsh loving redneck, go right ahead if that’s more comfortable for ya

I said none of it matters as long as the trans person is left objectively better off in the long run post-transition, than any erasure if it did occur, would be worth it. Also not saying it occurred in every instance

We've seen those rights are subject to whims of whoever sits in the Supreme Court. And the trend seems terrifying. Elimination of rights for women and minorities. And looks like a full on old-fashioned genocide is getting worked on at the moment in the United States of America. It's a very interesting time to be alive, especially as the targeted demographic.


Why are you people like this? And the sad thing is I know why. It's a backlash from being pushed too far. A number of really fucking stupid decisions have been made. For example, dragtime story telling.. I cracked up laughing when I heard about it because it's not fathomable that ANYONE thought it was a good idea. It 100% exists out in the world to troll people and incite a reaction. Probably initiated by conservatives to provoke the obvious reaction from people and rally their base. Or it was progressives trolling conservatives. Or it was a third party, probably Russia, trying to rip our nation apart with some easy and hilarious bait. Shits sad how easily people eat this shit up.

Hi guess what trans people don't have a monopoly on public discourse, there are other members of society too who actually have opinions about the topic, particularly with regard to issues of children and consent. It's a perfectly legitimate topic to analyze and critique, just like any other. Why's it so hard to be an adult on this topic? From either side. Right loons call everyone pedos and the trans activist loons shriek about oppression while threatening and intimidating anyone who politely expresses even slight doubts or concerns about the whole thing. Grow up, be adults.
