Go someplace awesome and solo while you wait. If groups are full or not being made, I don't consider it a wasteful evening to go solo something in CoM or OT or Dreadlands or spectres or something in half a dozen other zones while waiting to see what forms.

35-38 MM CE
(If you have a good CE group, or one where most of the players are around 35 or higher, head into dhamp/CY if it's open!) At 38 you have several options IMO, as an enchanter: 1. Solo Mistmoore to 40 (or group, I guess). To do this safely and effectively you need to know the zone pretty well, and know which spawns/mobs to just leave alone and invis past. 2. Go to SolB and hope for a group. Find a good duo class or a twinked hybrid melee (Paladin, ranger), and duo window. CHARM. 3. Go to Lower Guk and hope for a group. If you've got big balls, charm solo the ass/sup camp like I did. At 40, Solb and Lguk become easier to solo and you're high enough to function significantly better there in a group. At 40 you can go to City of Mist and stay there until 50. There are places with better xp than City of Mist, but CoM has always been a pretty reliable place for me for several reasons: -Usually at least one group going at all times. -No casting mobs means groups almost never wipe -No casting mobs means efficient killing -Mobs don't flee -Mobs are easy to pull in small numbers -Easy to solo here while lfg As an enchanter, if you're intrepid enough, you can solo almost anywhere in your level range. You're one of the few classes that is well equipped to handle casting mobs, and you're one of the most desirable classes for a group. Send tells to people in your range, even if they don't have LFG up!

You could easily solo in OT. Good open area and you can stay close to zone lines if your pulls go bad.

once 40 CoM is fantastic, as noted above theres always people there, mobs dont flee, mobs are all melee, and its easy and safe to solo there if theres no grouping going on.

In my experience . . .
Level's 35-40 seems to be the real question for most people that seem to be in despair about finding groups/xp. Also, this question tends to usually come from people who are tired of leveling at Mistmoore from 25-35. They probably think to themselves: "damn, there's got to be something better than this for another 5 levels!" . . . Nope. In truth, nothing better. It's still Mistmoore until level 40 if you want the best chance to find a group quickly. It's not just about pure xp (even though Mistmoore is pretty high up there in xp), it's also about logistics: population, level-range, zone difficulty, etc etc. I mean, think about down-time waiting for a group to form at Kedge or HHK etc due to low amounts of people. Also think about buffs from higher-levels that frequent the zone for their various tasks - I can't tell you how many times I've been power-leveled or buffed for free in Mistmoore by random 50+ toon that has some quest to run in the zone. And what about resurrections? What is the likelihood of finding a nearby cleric in a zone like HHK, versus Mistmoore, where clerics frequently stop by because they know that droves of people will always be waiting for a res? And what is the probability that even if you can find a group in a place like Sol A, that said group members will know anything about the zone? I once told a friend who invited me to his level 35 Sol A group: "no thanks, I don't want to die on the first pull because nobody remembers or uses that zone". The guy sent me a tell 20 minutes later: . . . "We all died on the first pull, you were right". Populated zones like Mistmoore may be an annoying bitch with trains, obnoxious players, new players (not yet weeded out from the brutality of the game), warping and a variety of other irritations. But it is easily still the best zone to group in at 35-40. Take my word for it. P.S. Forgot to mention that the only camp you should do 35-40 in Mistmoore is Castle Entrance (CE). And do it by pulling from the castle. Do not take group into the castle unless you are prepared to die and have a rogue/cleric to drag your bodies out and resurrect. Also, groups from 40-50 were much easier to find in my leveling experience.

Kedge will definitely have to be a place you form a group, but well worth it. If I had 3 hours to group, I would rather spend an hour forming a group to go to Kedge than go anywhere else and maybe get into a group quicker. Or you can just level at a snail's pace elsewhere.

The castle isn't a death sentence, you just need either: 1. A puller who knows the castle really well 2. A good enchanter/bard I've had many successful groups in the castle with no wipes, and it's very rewarding. Try hard to find a good core of competent people and try out-of-the-way zones. I did it on one of my characters, leveled all over the world with a smart enchanter and druid, and it was the best experience I've ever had leveling.
