Still doesn't sound as cool as a name like Prexus or Rallos Zek. I figured that it was named for a character in the game, but you know, Puntar Sandfisher is pretty famous too, and he doesn't get his own server.

That's the point I was trying to make. Whether it's "Fippy" or "Flippy", it's still pretty goofy sounding. They may as well have made a "Canloe Nusback" server, or a "Altunic Jartin" server.

You're really putting WAAAAAAAAAYYY too much thought into this.

BTW, it was voted on by the player base, so you are in the minority in disliking the server name.

i understand fippy had velious out, but is horrid, friends of mine playing there trying to suck me in, nope here to stick with the original actual classic eq
