Not when you're killing mobs in 10-15 seconds. And if you're killing mobs in like 30-40 seconds I don't think trying to proc a slow is going to be worth it.

Anything more than a trio and I usually keep the swarmcaller bagged.
If your group is already killing a mob every 30 seconds while your rogue has a Locustlure equipped, then it doesn't really matter what weapon the Rogue is using. A lot of camps will exhaust all of their spawns at that speed as is.

You still want to do it if its anything at all risky. Shit happens. If mobs in camp in are slowed, easier to handle when shit hits the fan.

Kc is not risky and applies to 99% of grouping. Only low man stuff with subpar healing is where slow really pays off. Like gwurms with a shaman healer gl if slow is resisted. People don’t really push the limits anymore.

huh? if a mob can be slowed it should be, always....Slow is the most efficient heal in the game by a country mile
It depends on mana sustainability.

No cleric is going to struggle at geos. If the tank has a damage shield all slow will do is reduce your dps. Kind of common sense.

This.

Cleric + velious tank gear trivializes most group content.

For what it’s worth, I don’t have monk, warrior, and knight data readily handy. I know my knights take a hit way better than my ranger who I did a lot of geo parsing with. In a non-slowed DW situation over 10 fights I took an average of 25dps. Just clicking Donal’s arms would have offset 16.66 dps. Really though, that’s not needed. Without any mana regen they can roughly cast one CH every 2 mins.

A couple melees with bandages and fungis can duo them without much drama. Even without the best gear. Same for KC like you pointed out.

I didn't say that it was common, just that it was possible. If you've never had a group sustaining a 30 second kill rate continuously for an hour or two, you're missing out. It's a lot of fun but it gets exhausting. Constant chaos.

Indeed! Those groups are quite fun.

I just think it’s always good to have that proverbial gear to shift to. Slow item in the bag is a serious advantage. It’s not always needed but why not carry it? That and a tash stick might save the day…
