the concept was insanely cool, should have tried it out it was pretty fun

reminded me more of Diablo/PoE than everquest, the class system was good.

THJ was the dumbest idea in ages. They begged to get shut down. FAFO

this might get worse with how you can basically just ask a LLM to do the server setup for you now

people that shouldn't be running boxes can now if they want, easily.

THC is the world-tutorial on live? And achievements? I remember spawning with a book(not pod book) in Crescent Reach I decided to ignore.

Yes. It was more than that though. It got you to 80-100 with a lot of good gear Rewards. Introduced expansions and features. And also showcased a lot of fun lore and zones and leveling on the way.

The heroes journey was one of the best additions to live EQ.

competing directly for customers and taking money was the dumb part

time would have been better spent working on something they could sell legitimately on steam even though its oversaturated af with clones

So is Daybreak just going to copy the concept now? And release a custom THJ server of their own? Seems like the smart play
