if you are rich: monk/pal/sk

if you have no friends/don't want to pay for ports: druid/wizard

if you are antisocial: necro

if you don't care if your class is nothing more than a coth both at 60: magician

Thanks I think I’ll go druid or mage… probably Druid since don’t need jboots and seems like chill class. Don’t know much about mages.

Probably anything with FD. Although monk and pulling for a group sucks. But soloing on monk is cool. If you want to group maybe something like cleric and just healing and buffing.

Agree with monk.

FD is good, but I think there is enough overlap between nec and enc that it might cause frustration. Monk is desirable in groups, has a super effective afk button and can self haste very well, which coupled with it’s good avoidance and capacity to twink mend/mitigation makes it a strong soloer.

Sk is good, and can do some really silly stuff (I’ve known a 39 SK solo CoM temple cos a group wanted to form there but wouldn’t invite him). Sk feels like it has a higher baseline for required activity, which means it can’t be played quite as casually as a monk.

Druid is good if you want to be really casual, doing stuff like making wolf sandwiches and spider candy instead of levelling.
Monk is my go to "chill class" because of exactly that. You can AFK and do whatever whenEVER you want. Not only that, But iksar monk is a top 3 class on p99. You can DPS and never leave camp, you can continuously pull like a madman, you can tank, you solo better than any other melee.. it's an easy choice.

Rogue is EASIER, but for me, leveling rogue was mind numbingly boring.

Doesn’t even make sense to have monks pulling anymore. Basically every group I’ve been in doesn’t want the monk to waste time splitting mobs they just want chain pulls non stop and they’ll easily handle CC on multiple adds. So at that point literally any class can pull

I'm pretty sure u could afk level a necromancer with just lifetap and a pet. Every other spell they get is just icing on the cake.

This exactly. Splitting is beyond tedious now and most groups blender through mobs anyways.

nerco is not a chill class, lich will kill you often if you try to afk on them, eventually you will forget and you will come back dead.

mage super chill, you have only 1 responsibility in a grp and can solo great for quick solo sessions. monk also super chill but really want a fungi and while pulling on a monk is tedious you will still sometimes still be expected to do it. rogue can't solo very well so not a chill class imo but you only have 1 typical responsibility so not an overly active class.

good druids pull, esp in outside zones, with root and harmony they are great pullers and are poor dps so they fill the puller roll nicely when possible
