You did 155 damage.

The pet did 99.

You also have a lower attack delay than the pet with the weapons you say you're using.

Not mention special Monk attacks that are far stronger than the weak lifetap the pet does.

Oh, and you also get a proc on the Adamantite Club. Nobody is going to be giving a Necro pet a weapon with that good of a proc.

Aaaaaand you were fighting some random lower level monster in OT where the pet is going to be doing closer to its max damage because they are close in level. If you go to an area with harder MOBs, and get in a proper group where you'll be hasted, you'll be outdamaging the pet (and the Necromancer as a whole) more than you already are.

Since when does one SS of one round each of the monk and the pet demonstrate anything?

It would be like a rogue complaining warriors have 3x the dps because in one round a warrior doubled for 300 with crippling blows + a kick and the rogue only did about 200 damage in 4 hits with no BS.

One thing to keep note of and to be taken always with a grain of salt...this sever even pre kuanrk has never been on par to live. AC tables, dmg bonus, haste, innate procs, skill levels, etc. etc. have never been the same and people have learned to adapt.

The OP should have planned out a more methodical post and provided a more useful screen shot and or parse.

However, to all the people NOT playing a monk, telling other monks to sit down and shut up should be doing the same thing. It's easy to yell shut up when it doesn't affect you.

This new mitigation table has shifted all melee dps around, some for the better, but most for the worse. Warriors should not be and have never even in both cases of each class using BiS items, that the warrior has done more overall dps vs monk. Rogue dps shot up, and monk went down. Warrior mitigation went up, shadow knight and ranger went down. All claims from different people, different levels noticing the impact.

Stone stance doesn't mitigate damage the way it should, it barely reduces anything at all. Inner flame is doing 50% if not less than what it was doing prior. These changes cannot honestly be on par to what is expected. Maybe this was addressed in the next patch, and people just dealt with it until then?

I believe that this is the type of thing you are supposed to post in the bugs forum. Maybe with parses and such. Otherwise, you can complain up and down and I don't think nothing will be done about it.
