I've been calling for 1999 emulated connection speeds before you went into a nursing home old man.

quit pestering the staff with your days of yonder past.

And you already know how to get it going?
pretty sure this is just a macro

/sit
/viewport 0 0 0 0

and

/stand
/viewport 0 0 1920 1080 (or whatever)

You can play this way if you want!

Not sure how I feel about that. Im not a classic hound like Dald. I do prefer classicness when possible. But damn...

This is nilbog's and rogean's server.
Don't read too deep beyond that.

I don't know what this is but not the original/vanilla spellbook. You stuck your face completely in the book. It was giant and covered your whole screen.

It wasn't. It was fully functional code. I could show you the same functionality clicking the spell book on the Default UI if I wanted.

It did utilize the viewport code to accomplish it though.

Part of it:

Code:
	if (GameState == 5 && *(UIWnd **)0x850C30) {
		if ((*(UIWnd **)0x850C30)->Visible) {
			*(DWORD *)0x923780 = 1;
			*(DWORD *)0x923784 = 1;
		} else {
			*(DWORD *)0x923780 = 1920;
			*(DWORD *)0x923784 = 1080;
		}
	}
The variables being adjusted there are the Client's Viewport settings.

That C++?

I'm a DBA by trade so coding is not really my forte, although my Powershell game is picking up.

Yeah see that's the thing, if they could make THAT work then I'd say push it. The black screen feels way less classic and would rip me out of my 1999 immersion!

I actually remember being proud when I hit 35 and graduated to sitting instead of staring at the book.

I don't see why this wouldn't be implemented, so long as you can see chat still, this is how the game was initially.

you actually can do that, add a kid/cat and access to your your router, true random disconnects or just use bad connection, you dont need to ask the server to get the real feel
