It might also depend on the circumstances under which they won. If the Axis had taken out Russia, there would have been no Cold War. McCarthyism set the States back quite a bit. And I don't just mean when they added "Under God" to the Pledge.
And what if the Axis won the war in Europe because the US decided not to enter it? Would the Axis have left the US alone if the US had stayed neutral? | ||
