A level 60 Iksar Monk in the same gear as a level 60 Human monk will have around 35-55 more AC.
They also benefit from an additional 8 hp per tick at level 60 which has definitely saved my life when pulling and failing a flop in the past. When you survive at 5 hit points, you'll be glad that you were an Iksar.

I'm not making the case that min-maxing is necessary, and I'm not saying that the difference is big, but an Iksar is definitely superior to a Human.
