Easily solvable.. do what I do, and send out tells along the lines of.

"Hello there. Would you be willing to come to OOT and rez a corpse I have for 170p? Thank you."

Sent that message out to 5-6 clerics, and ended up finding one that was coming out to OOT anyway. Worked out well.

In your spot, send the same message, and just change the zone and price. I'm sure you would have found someone willing to do it.

This is funny. While leveling to 50, my regular kedge group needs a dps. So I see badmartigan lfg and ask my group. The entire group responds "fuck no he's a baddie, he even has bad in his name." The end

Likewise, I very often turn down people who send me tells for rez requests because I rarely, if ever, log on his cleric to run around rezzing people all night.

If a cleric is willing to rez you, even for a donation, you should be grateful. However, if a cleric is unwilling to rez you, it is by no means grounds to get angry with them. They don't play this game to rez you. Maybe you should work on getting a better internet connection and dying less instead of ranting people whose only crime was not wasting their time rezzing someone who is clearly kind of a dick.

For the record, I don't know the cleric in question, and he could very well be an "assclown" as the OP suggests. Just saying that based on your post, you sound like dick.

As a cleric I am not obligated to anyone in this game any more than any other player. Period.
Words of wisdom.

Where did I say every cleric had to Rez me Loke? I didn't .. Thanks for putting words i'n. My mouth..

We engaged i'n tells, he was near my corpses and decided to buff people i'n EC instead of offering a response..

Theres no need to turn this into a thread about how many diff people accounts you can log into omgz ur so cool!!

I think dude could just told me the price he wanted or told me sorry he was busy... I don't have a bad connection.. And I don't crash anywhere else so far so I believe the issue is clientside..

I treat other people with respect so I get kinda angry when people get all high and mighty about this game.. Give me a response founded with a clear min an I will show the same ettiquette..

Simple, now please stop putting words i'n my mouth..

As for the kedge group I remember you guys asking me and I said no sorry.. Cute story tho!!

I side with OP.

If he totally declined to rez you, on whatever grounds, then that is his decision.

But to leave the zone, after already having engaged you in conversation regarding the price of the rez, is retarded.

I consider myself to be a pretty selfish individual, but when someone is talking to me in game about help or whatever, I at least finish the conversation with them before I leave to do something else.

I think the Cleric is obligated to tell him "no" before gating, because he engaged him in conversation prior to gating.
EXACTLY!!

This is all that was required... Instead I get ignored and some rude tells after I complained about not getting a response..

Sorry if everyone thought this was about with hunting clerics.. Cuz it's not..I pay VERY well for someones time and thus I demand a level on respect equivalent to the one I offer..'if your a dick that can't finish a convo I'll flame you on a video game message board all I want.. Why? Because you have NO CLASS..

If someone wants a port from me, and I ask them how much they are willing to pay for said teleport, and they respond value X. If I do not feel that value is adequate I feel quite justified in saying no thanks I'd prefer continuing doing what I'm doing.

Even if that thing that I'm doing is just sitting in EC.

I often forget that I'm having conversations with someone if I am having more than one conversation and I do apologize about that to the person requesting assistance. But I in no way feel obligated to do so. It is supererogatory at best to respond to a low balled offer (Asking for me to Buff with Skin like Nature, Chloroplast, SoW, a port from Lavastorm to Butcher Block and offering 5plat and a FS Sword), or an offer that just doesn't interest me.

Confusing reply that didn't really make much sense.
Um, I mentioned playing my friends cleric to display my first hand perspective on the topic at hand, not to brag about how many accounts I had access to (who brags about that?). See, when you're trying to discuss an issue, it helps to demonstrate that you have knowledge of the issue by presenting personal experiences related to the topic of conversation. As my main is a monk, which is a class that doesn't buff or rez people, recalling experiences on that character wouldn't really relate to the issue of this cleric not rezzing you at all. Hence, I instead referenced my experiences on a friend's character so as to better relate to the topic of the thread.

Also, you still sound like a dick for ranting this guy.

At 1st I read the bolded part and /facepalmed, I then read the later part and it made you look not retarded.
