Way back in the day a poor baby half elf druid died to the specters in the Qeynos Aqueducts and didn't know anyone and lost their corpse, all that tattered leather! Level 10! Whatever was I to do!

But some nice level 18 barbarian shaman took pity on me and crafted me clothing and even gave me a +2 wis item and a rusty mace! I was uber! I later joined the shamans guild, Commonwealth of Warriors on Inny. My first guild and my first game ever.

That is the only corpse I've ever lost, I learned my terrifying lesson of the cost of not keeping your corpses taken care of, never again will I lose out on precious tattered leather.

One time my high elf had a corpse with full planar gear, rubicite, fifteen manastones, CoF, selo's drum of the march, thex dagger, and ten bajillion platinum. I died in the enchanter guild in Neriak while I was AFK and when I came back I was level 5. Then my power went out for a week and I had to move simultaneously, while doing my final exams and mourning for the loss of a dead relative.

One time as an Erudite Necro, I had just made the trek across the sea to Qeynos, and wasn't going to do anything before getting a bind, except maybe check out the Necro trainers.

Well, I had heard that all the evil Qeynos trainers were down in the catacombs, along with monsters rangering lvls 1-10. I figured my lvl 6 self with a pet could probably make my way around relatively safely, so I popped on down, turned a corner, and then out of the freakin water, BOOM!! Bait Masterson wtfpwns me back to Paineel.

I logged off for the night, and re-rolled the next day.

My level 20 irl big homie hit my dwarf warrior up with a shitload of gear when I was just starting, probably 1kpp or so just judging by the item names i remember. No idea how he got the money, but I do know that the shit he gave me was worth more than what he was wearing. Big bucks to us 12-year-olds.

Well, I was riding the boat through ocean of tears with my bapes on and I decided to just jump out of the boat and see what kind of zany adventure I'd get into. I started swimming, and kept it up for about a half hour before my grandma came to the door with cookies. I was a big boy home alone, and couldn't ignore it. Being ignorant of the autorun key, my rich ass drowned and my corpse sank to the bottom of the ocean. My friend ragequit and we never spoke again.

OK, so far you are definitely the winner. That aside, grandma's cookies are more than all the reason you need to let 1000 plat rot at the bottom of the ocean.
