Are you getting any UI errors?

No, no UI errors to date.

This all occurred after I reinstalled, so I had to mess with the height/width dimensions in the eqclient.ini file to be able to fit my macbook screen. I don't *think* they are any different than they were before I deleted the files and reinstalled. I was too dumb to copy them down beforehand.

Could this be the issue?

I use whatever display comes with the package to run the game. Nothing added. I have asked tons of people in game over time how to make the font bigger, nothing has ever worked. The only thing I found that helps is change your font to one of the "SYSTEM" type fonts that come included. Try several and see which is best. They are better than Tahoma

edit: this is done in game under "options" when you click the eq button
Just gonna pop in and say /chatfontsize 1-4

Unless you meant font size outside of chat boxes

I tried all that a long time ago [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

It's all throughout the application from the moment I open it (before even logging in).

Did you reformat/reinstall? You may be missing some fonts you had on your old system that are no longer available for selection. If that's the case install the appropriate font you were using before and update ur .ini

Thx for your reply - are the fonts all held in a specific .ini? Or do you mean in the eqclient.ini
