I am wondering how much GPU manufacturer plays a role in this. I am curious. For those that the game is running well, what is your GPU? I am starting to wonder if AMD/ATI cards run this better?

I'm using a Geforce GTX 560. Back when I played with a Radeon card I had a whole ton of trouble with Everquest, from glitchy graphics to crashing. Nvidia has always felt better with EQ for me. However, while EQ plays pretty smooth and fine, this issue with WinEQ2 makes no sense to me. Nothing changed to cause it to behave like it is now. It must have altered a registry somewhere whilst in the middle of a game session, as uninstalling it completely and reinstalling it doesn't fix it.
