Since we've seg-wayed into other neat items, there was a GM event in early 2001/2002 IIRC where a monk fist weapon with the GBS graphic and a really good ratio was dropping off a certain mob in lfay - I came within 15 seconds of getting one, but some other monk found the last mob that dropped it before I did =(

Where can we look for more awesome GM event items? I've only seen 3 in my time playing EQ -

Malevolence, Crystalline Claw of Veeshan, and Skull Mask.

There's gotta be a whole bunch of weird, unique items.

http://everquest.allakhazam.com/db/item.html?item=7065 was given out to 4 people on xegony right before luclin opened up. or slightly after. Can't remember just remember it taking place around norrath and ending in dreadlands. with alkabor there and everyone trying to kill him like everyone always does.

Let me guess - When Cazic Thule attacked Gfay? ;p I remember that battle... Tunare showed up and it is the reason the unicorn became corrupted.
